Thatz ah Spizy Meatah-ball

Pretty traditional Italian-style meatballs flavored with fennel seed, red pepper flakes, and fresh basil.

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Serves: 8-10


2 lbs. ground beef
10 oz. bread crumbs
2 eggs
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp onion, minced
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fennel seed
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper


Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until thoroughly integrated. If extra moisture is required, add water 1/2 cup at a time. You don't want soggy meatballs; they won't keep their shape.
