Carrot Cake

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups grated carrots
2 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped black walnuts


Cream oil and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, then the grated carrots. Sift in dry ingredients. Beat and add nuts. Pour into three 8" or two 9" layer prepared layer pans. Bake 50 minutes at 300 degrees F.
