Oriental Pepper Deer Steak

Ingredients

2 lbs deer steak, cut into 1/8" strips
1 1/3 cups beef bouillon
1 green pepper, coarsely chopped
2 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp soy sauce
pinch ground ginger
10 oz can LaChoy chineese veggies
1 Tbsp cooking oil
1 onion, coarsely chopped
1 rib celery, coarsely chopped
3 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp sugar

Method

Brown deer steak in hot oil in a skillet. Add bouillon and simmer for 5 minutes. Add onion, green pepper, and celery and simmer for 10 minutes. Mix water, cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar and ginger and then aqdd to skillet. Cook until slightly thick, then add the canned veggies. Heat thoroughly. Serve ladled over hot rice.
