Country Fried Deer Steak

2 lbs deer steak, 3/4" thick
3/4 cup flour
2 tsp salt
1/3 cup milk
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 tsp pepper


In a large ziploc bag, add flour, pepper, salt, and bread crumbs. Dip meat in milk then place in bag and shake. Place meat in skillet with 1/4 inch of oil on medium heat. Brown slowly, turning with tongs. Cover: reduce heat and cook for 30-35 minutes turning occassionally. Remove cover and cook for 10 minutes longer or until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
