Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
2 (16 ounce) packages frozen hash brown potatoes
2 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
16 ounces sour cream
1 stick of butter - melted
Onion to taste
Salt and pepper
Crushed corn flakes (for topping)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine all of the ingredients except butter. Mix well and pour into 4 quart casserole dish.
Top with corn flakes and butter; bake for 1 hour or until all cheese is melted and hot. (Make sure potatoes are cooked through).
