Pumpkin Bread

2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 can pumpkin
2 eggs

2/3 cup water

3 1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
3 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves

Optional - 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts


Mix together sugar and oil.
Add pumpkin and eggs. Blend well.
Add flour, spices and water. Mix completely.
Pour into two full-size loaf pans.
Bake 1 hr 30 min. or until it passes the "toothpick test"

Sprinkle top with powdered sugar. Good to eat hot or after cooled.
