Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
2 tsp oil
4 boneless pork chops (1 lb)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 pkg, 8 oz, sliced fresh mushrooms
1 onion, chopped
1 jar, 26 oz, spaghetti sauce
3 Tbs chopped fresh basil or 1 Tbs dried basil leaves
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium high heat. Add chops; cook 2 minutes on each side. Transfer to 13x9 inch baking dish, reserving drippings in skillet; sprinkle chops with parmesan.
3. Add vegetables to drippings in skillet; cook and stir 5 to 6 minutes or until tender. Stir in spaghetti sauce and basil; cook on medium heat 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour over chops.
4. Bake 20 minutes or until chops are done (160 degrees F). Top with mozzarella; bake 5 minutes or until melted. Serve with hot cooked spaghetti.
