Beef Brisket

5 to 8 lb. Beef Brisket
1 carton Beef Broth
1/2 bottle BBQ sauce
1/2 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
A good quality meat rub used in smoking.


Sprinkle the meat rub on the brisket and let it sit for 1 hour to 24 hours. If you let it sit in the fridge for more than an hour, take meat out and let sit to come to room temperature.
In a dutch oven or large pot, combine all the Beef Broth, 1/2 BBQ sauce and Liquid Smoke.
Place the brisket into the liquid, cover tightly and place in a 350 degree oven for 4 to 5 hours.
When done, cut and serve with BBQ sauce on rolls or by itself.
