Moist Apple Cake

Ingredients

4 C. Peeled chopped apples
1/2 C. Veg oil
2 T. Vanilla Ex.
2 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
1 C. chopped walnuts
2C. Flour
2t. Cinnamon
2 t. Baking soda
1 t. salt
TOPPING:
1/3 C. Butter
1/3 C. Milk
1/3 C. Brown sugar, packed
1/3 C. powdered sugar

Method

In a bowl mix first six (6) ingredients. Add next four (4) ingredients. Pour into a greased 9 X 13 Pan. Put in a 350 F. oven. Cook for 35-40 minutes. While the cake is cooking, put the TOPPING ingredients in a sauce pan over low heat stir occasionally.
Pour TOPPING over cake IMMEDIATELY after it comes out of the oven. Let cool.
