Black Bean and Sausage Soup with Supermash

A thick, hearty, spicy stew to warm a winter's day -- dead easy and quick. Doesn't get any better than that.

1 pound spicy sausage, removed from casing
1 onion, chopped fine
4 cans black beans
1 can chicken or beef stock
2 Tbsp Dr. Gonzo's Supermash
2 Tbsp ground cumin
Hearty sploosh of lime juice. Or three.
chopped cilantro


Brown the sausage and onion together in a skillet.

Meanwhile, empty 2 cans of beans into the soup pot, with liquid. Mash with a potato masher. Add the other cans of beans and the stock, the cumin and Supermash. Heat while the sausage cooks.

Add lime juice and cilantro. Ready to eat! (Even better next day)
