Chocolate Rum Cake

1-18.25 oz pack of chocolate cake mix
1 3.9 oz pack of chocolate pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cp water
1/2 cp butter
1/2 cp white rum (or a little more)
1/2 cp chopped nuts

For Glaze:
1/2 cp butter
1 cp white sugar
1/4 cp white rum
1/4 cp water


Preheat Oven to 325 degrees.
Grease a 10" bundt pan.
With an electric mixer beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, butter, 1/2 cp of water, and 1/2 cp of rum on high speed for 2 min. Add chopped nuts to prepared bundt pan and pour batter on top of nuts.
Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
To Make Glaze:
In sauce pan, combine butter, sugar, 1/4 cp white rum and 1/4 cp of water. Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Pour immediately over warm cake.
Let cool in bundt pan for 30-40 minutes then turn over onto serving dish.
Optional: Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
