Cranberry Walnut Whole Wheat crackers

Super easy Cranberry Walnut Whole Wheat crackers, great with sharp cheeses and soft, and on their own!

• 2 Cups flour, whole wheat
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 2/3 Cup warm water
• 1/3 cup olive oil
• 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped fine
• 1 cup walnuts, roasted and chopped fine/almost squished into meal.
(I realized after the fact that I didn't write down the exact amounts of the cranberry and walnuts, so feel free to adjust! Make sure they're cut up pretty fine, though, or they get really hard to roll out!)


-Preheat the oven to 400.
-Mix together the dry ingredients to ensure that nuts, cranberries, and baking powder are spread out among the flour, and then stir in the water, oil and mix until a smooth dough forms.
-Roll out into a large rectangle. (fingers are fun to use, for a more naturaly look). Divide in half, and then cut crackers as big as you want them to be. Should take two cookie sheets hence dividing in half). you can put each half on a sheet and cut it on there, and they in theory will break apart, but I cut them all out and laid them out slightly separated.
-sprinkle salt all over the tops of the crackers.
-Bake for 10 minutes until the crackers are golden and crispy.Keep an eye on them, they're dark because of the whole wheat flour, so they're easy to overbake!
