Egg Nog Snickerdoodles

2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon rum extract
1/2 teaspoon brandy extract
2 eggs

Nutmeg sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 c. sugar


Heat oven to 400 F.
In medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, cream of tartar, soda.
Cream butter and 1.5 c .sugar.
Add eggs, beat well.
Add brandy add rum extract.
Gradually add in flour mixture, blend well

Combine the ΒΌ c. sugar with the nutmeg in a separate bowl.
Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar mixture.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. Remove.
