Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
Serves: a bunch
5 cups oats
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 cup chopped peanuts
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup olive oil
3 tsp cinnamon
3-4 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1.5 cups raisins
1/2 cup dried cranberries (craisins)
1.5 cups dried apples, cut into small chunks
Combine everything except the last 3 ingredients in a large pot or bowl - stir until everything is evenly coated with the liquids.
Spread out on 8-9 dehydrator trays and dehydrate for several hours
Let it cool completely, then mix in the last 3 ingredients.
Mix well and store in a sealed container. Will last quite a while (if it doesn't get eaten first!)
Don't forget - this is granola - feel free to change quantities or add/remove anything you want to change from the ingredients list.
