Wild Rice Pilaf

1/4 cup butter
1 cup raw wild rice
1/2 cup onion (finely chopped)
3/4 cup celery (finely chopped)
1/4 cup carrot (finely chopped or grated)
1 cup mushrooms (finely chopped)
3 cups chicken broth
1/4 tsp poultry seasoning


Saute first six ingredients. Add chicken broth and seasoning. Cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes or until rice is very tender.
