4 Chocolate (or plain) Weetabix, crushed
10 tbsp rolled oats
100g plain flour
100g light brown sugar
50g choc bits/chopped
4 tbsp Mixed Seeds
1 tbsp of any chopped nuts
2 tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
60ml boiling water
Mix together Weetabix, rolled oats, flour, sugar, choc bits and mixed seeds until well combined.
Place margarine and golden syrup in a small saucepan and heat gently until melted. Or microwave on low/medium setting stirring reg
Mix bicarbonate of soda and water together then pour into margarine mixture. Add to dry ingredients and stir to combine. Mould small balls of mixture onto baking trays greased or lined with baking parchment. Bake at gas mark 4 for 20-25 minutes.
