8 oz dry pasta (fettucine, angel hair, thin spaghetti noodles)
2 TBSP olive oil
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 package cherry tomatoes, halved
3 TBSP chopped fresh basil
shredded fresh Parmesan cheese (optional)
Cook pasta in boiling water according to pkg directions. Drain.
While pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a wide skillet over medium=low heat
Add garlic and stir until golden, about 2 mins.
Add tomaotes, increase heat to medium-high heat and simmer until tomatoes are softened and juicy, about 6 mins.
Stir in pasta and basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with Parmesan cheese
