Spanish Rice

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 1/2 lbs. ground beef; browned and drained
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper; chopped
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
3/4 C. water
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 C. rice, converted; raw


Stir all ingredients together.

Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours (High for 3 hours, then switch to low for the remaining time).
