1 c vegetable oil
2 c cider vinegar
3 Tbs salt
1 Tbs poultry seasoning
1 tsp ground pepper
6 Chicken halves or 12 quarters
Crack the egg into a medium bowl and whisk until beaten.
Slowly whisk in the oil until fully blended.
Then whisk in the vinegar, salt, poultry seasoning, and ground pepper.
Set half of the sauce aside to use for basting while grilling.
Place chicken in shallow baking dish, and coat with remaining sauce.
Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Preheat a charcoal grill and then place the chicken pieces on the grate over the charcoal. Turn the pieces ever 5-10 minutes and baste with each turning.
