2oz Caster Sugar
7oz Self Raising Flour
¾lb Cooking Apples (Peeled, cored and thinly sliced)
2Tbsp Granulated Sugar
Preheat oven to GM4 350°F 170°C
Cream together the Butter and Sugar
Beat in the Egg
Fold in the Flour
Spread 2/3 mix on the bottom of a 9â€ Loose Bottom round tin
Spread apples across top followed by lemon juice and sugar.
Dollop the remaining mix on top, alternating with Jam.
Bake for 45mins
Allow to cool slightly before serving, although it's very nice cold :)
