5oz Caster Sugar
8oz Self Raising Flour
½ tsp Mixed Spice
2oz Chopped Almonds
2oz Blanched Almonds
Preheat oven to GM2 325°F 160°C
Cream together Sugar and Marg then beat in Eggs one at a time.
Stir in remaining ingredients, apart from the whole Almonds
Grease and line a 7â€ Round Tin, then pour in the mix
Place the Almonds on top of the cake, with the points aiming at the centre.
Bake for 2hrs
