Spicy Tomato Soup

Ingredients

Browned ground beef
1 Med onion
2 red peppers
2 green peppers
2 tbls chili sauce
2 jalapeno peppers
2 long hot peppers
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 can can tomato sauce (no seasoning added)
1 tsp chili powder or 1 tsp ground cumin
salt and pepper
water
sliced mushrooms

Method

Brown meat and onion (how much meat depends on how much you want to make. For a dutch oven of soup I use a 1/2 lb to 1lb of meat.)
drain fat from pot
add tomatoes 1 part tomato to 2 parts water. (for every container of tomato refill the contain twice with water.)
dice all peppers and add to pot
add all spices and chili sauce. (again how much depends on how much soup you are making and personal taste. the amounts I are about what I use for a full pot)
Simmer for at least an hour longer is fine just check that water has not boiled out.

For Slower cooker
Brown meat and onions as above add everything else to the pot and go. Cook in slow cooker for 4-8 hours.
