1 Cup butter, original recipe calls for shortening
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour, 250 grams
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
You will need to Preheat the oven at 350°.
cream butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and blend well. In a seperate bowl, mix dry ingredients together except chips. Beat dry mix into butter/egg mixture, combining well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls (for big cookies) onto parchment papered cookies sheets.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes
