1/2 cup moong dal
1/2 cup quinoa
3 cups water
1/2 tspn salt
1/2 tspn turmeric
Put all the above ingredients in a pressure cooker.
Cook for 20 min.
In a small pan, take 2 tbspn oil
add 1/4 tspn mustard seeds
when they pop, add 1/4 tspn jeera seeds.
add chili powder to taste
add 1 tspn sambar powder
add the tempering to the cooked dal and quinoa mixture.
