Lentil Soup

Ingredients

8 Cups chicken stock
2 Cups lentils, red or brown
2 meduim onion chopped
2 carrots, cut up
1 meduim potato, cut up
1/4 tsp. Garlic powder or 1 clove minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Method

Combine all ingredients in large pot. Be sure to rinse lentils well. Bring to a boil , stirring often. Cover and simmer approx. 45 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
