Dietary guidance: v
1 cup of flour
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup of milk
Mix the dry ingredients together, mix in the egg and milk, melt some butter in the pan.... you know the rest.
Play with the amount of milk if you want thicker pancakes or thin crepes...
Make pikelets by adding more baking powder (maybe another teaspoon) and using less milk.
Use the same mix with maybe half a cup of sugar to make a batter for bananas or apple, then fry in 1cm or so of hot oil and drain on paper towels. If you're feeling really decadent, once they're cooked and drained, toss them in a mix of sugar and cinnamon. Eat with icecream...
