2 onions - finely chopped
250g pork mince
250g beef mince
1 tsp oregano
1 beaten egg
2 cans chopped tomatos
2 red chillis
2 garlic cloves
100ml beef stock
Place half the onions, pork and beef mince, oregano, bread crumbs, cumin and egg in a bowl. Mix well.
Roll mince mixture into meatballs. (I use a burger press initially to make sure they stay together.)
Heat the veg oil in a frying pan, ad the meatballs and fry for 5-6 minutes. Remove the meatballs.
A the remaining onions, garlic, chillies and fry until soft and golden.
Add the chopped tomatos and beef stock, stir well.
Add the meatballs and simmer for 20 mins until sauce is reduced.
