Difficulty: Medium - experience needed
1 quart blueberries OR 2 lbs. pitted cherries
Mix the fruit with 2 Tablespoons of bread crumbs.
Spoon 1 teaspoon of fruit mixture into prepared pierogi dough circles. Fold & seal edges; cook in boiled water until done (3-4 minutes) or until they float to the top. Remove with slotted spoon.
Serve with melted butter & sweetened sour cream.
