1/2 pound white Monterey jack or white cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350. Grease well a baking sheet, or use a Teflon baking sheet. Cut the cheese into 1/2 inch cubes. Space them about 3 inches apart on the baking sheet. Bake for 7 minutes or until the edges become light brown. (Watch carefully - the fat will cook out of the cheese, leaving little spaces, to give the effect of lace)
Store in an airtight container or tin. Makes 3 1/+2 to 4 dozen.
