Follows Feingold Diet. Serve as cereal with milk or as a snack in a bag.

Cooking time: 20 mins

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


3 cups uncooked rolled oats
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup honey
1 cup pure vegetable oil
1/4 cup soy flour
1 tbs pure vanilla (not imitation)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup chopped dates (optional)
1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)


Preheat oven to 350.
Lightly grease a baking sheet. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, except the dates and coconuts, with the water; mis together thoroughly. Spread the mixture evenly onto the baking sheet, and bake for 20 minutes, or until browned. Stir in the dates and coconut if desired.

Store in a covered container. makes approx 7 cups.
