Caprese Pasta Salad

Just like the salad, but with pasta. Can be served warm or cold

1 lb. Pasta, any shape
¾ cup of chopped fresh mozzarella
fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped
3 roma or plum tomatoes, roughly chopped
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
freshly ground salt and pepper


Combine the cheese, tomatoes, oil, vinegar, garlic, and salt and pepper in a ziploc bag. Marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes. Cook pasta according to directions and let cool completely. Stir in the cheese mixture and toss. Top with fresh basil and freshly ground pepper
