Tortilla soup

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


Black beans, 4 cans (15 oz each)
Vegetable broth, 32 oz.
Water, 3 cups
Corn, 2 cans (11 oz each)
Tomatoes, chopped, 30 oz.
Salsa, 1 c.
Avocados, 2-3


Except for avocados and tortillas, combine all ingredients in saucepan.
Simmer, medium-low, 20 min.
Tear tortillas, place in bowls.
Dice avocados, place on top of tortillas.
Ladle soup, let tortillas soften, and serve.
