Asparagus, steamed / boiled

Ingredients

Asparagus
water
salt, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp
mayonnaise

Method

1. Boil water in bottom half of steamer pan, add salt (after boiling to avoid pitting)

2. Trim bottom of asparagus, peel bottom a bit if desired, steam 5-10 min. to tender.

3. Serve with mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, etc.
