8 Slices Sourdough Sandwich Bread
8 Teaspoons Honey Dijon Mustard
1/2 Pound Sliced Smoked Turkey
1/3 Pound Sliced Muenster Cheese
12 Leaves of Basil
1 Tablespoon Avonmore Whole Milk
1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1/8 Teaspoon Nutmeg
2 Tablespoon Butter
Place 4 slices of bread on a work surface and spread each with 2 tsp mustard.
Divide the turkey and cheese over each bread slice.
Top each with 3 pieces of basil and the remaining bread slices.
In a shallow dish, beat eggs, milk, cayenne and nutmeg.
Heat a skillet.
Add 1 tablespoon butter, when foamy, dip 2 of the sandwiches in the egg mixture and add to the skillet.
Cook for 4 minutes per side or until nicely browned.
Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and keep warm.
Reduce heat and repeat with the remaining butter and sandwiches.
Server the sandwiches immediately.
