Slow Cooker Chili

1 lb. ground beef
3/4 cup diced onion
3/4 cup diced celery
3/4 cup diced green bell pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans tomato puree
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can kidney beans, with liquid
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp. dried basil
3/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. hot sauce


1. Place ground beef in a skillet over medium heat and cook until evenly browned, drain grease

2. Place beef in slow cooker, and mix in remaining ingredients

3. Cover and cook 8 hours on low
