Half a pack of salted butter (125 grams)
Handful of fresh Basil leaves
Splash of lemon juice
This is actually very simple to make and so good.
Let the butter warm up to room temperature so it will be easy to mix. Use a bowl or cup where you want to serve and preserve the butter in.
Slice up the fresh basil leaves into small pieces, not to small because you want to see the green of the basil in the finished product.
When the butter is room temperature add a splash of lemon juice. This helps making the butter more smearable and gives a nice taste together with the salt of the butter.
Mix the basil leaves in the butter. Put the Basil butter in the refrigerator to set. The oils of the basil leaves will give it's taste to the butter.
When you are going to use the butter for consumption make sure you leave it out of the refrigerator for a fews minutes so the butter becomes all soft again, it's better for it's taste as well!
