1 lb firm tofu
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
3 tbsp seasoning sauce or Chinese soy sauce
2 tbsp mirin
3 tbsp peanut oil (for frying)
Dice the tofu into bite sized squares and fry on medium-high heat with the peanut oil, flipping occasionally. When golden brown or crispy, add the mirin, seasoning sauce, and brown sugar. Reduce heat to a low and simmer until thick and sticky.
