Suddenly Slim Spicy Turkey-Venison Loaf

Very simple and quick dinner entree, legal for those on the Suddenly Slim Weight Loss program

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground turkey breast
1 lb ground venison*
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup salsa
McCormicks Grill Mates Spicy Montreal Steak Seasoning
Tony Chachare's Creole seasoning
(I rarely measure spices, just dump'm in there)

Method

MIX all ingredients in large bowl until well blended.

SHAPE meat mixture into a loaf. Place in foil-lined baking pan or 9x5-inch loaf pan.

BAKE in 375° F oven 1 hour or until cooked through.

Top with more salsa, if desired.**

Since there are just two of us, I split this recipe into 2 loaves and freeze the second one for later. Saves me time in the kitchen!

*You will not see Venison on your Suddenly Slim menu, but it is one of the most organic, lean meats you can find. If you do not like Venison or it is not available, substitute with turkey breast or lean ground beef.

**After reaching your goal weight, you may top with cheese if desired.
