Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
1/4 c butter
1 c heavy cream
2/3 c freshly grated parmessan cheese
12 oz pasta, cooked according to package directions
Melt the butter in a saucepan over med heat. Add the cream and bring to a gentle boil. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the cheese a little at a time, stirring well, and continue heating until melted through. Season with salt and pepper.
Toss sauce with cooked pasta. Turn into serving platter and top with minced parsley if desired.
