Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
3 bananas, peeled
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup chopped peanuts or shelled sunflower seeds
6 flat wooden sticks
Cut bananas in half. Push stick in end of each half. Put chocolate chips and shortening in a small bowl. Cook on medium in a microwave oven for 3 minutes, uncovered. Stir mixture and dip bananas in melted chocolate. Roll in the crushed nuts or seeds. Wrap in freezer wrap. Freeze at least two hours until firm.
