Thai Burgers

1 3/4 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
2 sticks lemon grass, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
3 or 4 shallots, minced
2 red chili peppers, seeded and minced
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
salt and pepper to taste
2 limes


In a large bowl, mix together beef, coconut, lemon grass, shallot, chili paste, and peanuts.
Season well. Form into 6 patties.

Grill for 3 to 5 minutes per side (inside or outside grill!). Remove from grill, and sprinkle
burgers with lime

Makes 6 burgers, however many you want that to serve. ;)
