Fast Bread Pudding with Butter Rum Sauce

Ingredients

Pudding
2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts (original)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 can fruit cocktail, undrained
2 eggs, beaten
1 c raisins
1 c golden raisins
2 tsp cinnamon

Sauce
1 stick butter
1 lb powder sugar
Rum (to taste) or Rum extract

Method

Preheat oven to 350.

Break donuts into small pieces in a large bowl. Add other pudding ingredients and mix well. Let mixture stand for 10-15 minutes, mixing occaisionally until most of the liquid is soaked up.

Spoon mixture into an oven-proof baking dish. Bake for 1 hour.

Meanwhile, melt butter and slowly stir in the confectioner's sugar. Add rum and heat until bubbly.

Pour warm sauce over warm bread pudding and serve with fresh whipped cream.
