Shawna's Favorite Spagetti Sauce

1 pkg Hot Italian Sausage (Turkey or Pork)
1 lb. Ground Beef (lean)
2 - 3 Jars Classico Sauce (Any combination of Tomato-Basil and Spicy Tomato-Basil)
Italian Spices to taste
Salt to taste
Garlic Powder to taste
Onion Powder to taste
Crushed-Dried red chili pepers to taste


If sausage is in links, squeeze the meat out of the casing.
Brown sausage and ground beef in a large skillet with Italian seasoning and chili pepper. Add a little now and you can add more later to taste.
After meat is browned, drain off fat. You can just remove all the meat from the pan with a slotted spoon and pour out the fat. Return the meat to the pan and pour in spagetti sauce until the ratio of meat to sauce is to your preference. Add more spices, garlic powder, onion powder and salt to taste.
Simmer covered for at least one hour and stir every 15 minutes.
