Good recipe for Meatless Monday or any day.

Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 30 min

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
Serves: 4-6

Dietary guidance: v v 


whole wheat or whole grain angel hair pasta 2 cups
clove of garlic 1 chopped
small shallot or onion 1 slice chopped
shoyu or soy sauce 1 cup
teriyaki sauce 2 TBSP
balsalmic vinegar 1 tsp
walnuts 1 handful chopped
olive oil 2 TBSP
salt to taste
pepper to taste


Cook pasta to al dente, Meanwhile in saute pan, heat olive oil on medium heat. Add chopped garlic, shallot to oil and cook till translucent. Add chopped walnuts and cook about 2 minutes. Add soy, teriyaki and vinegar to slightly deglaze. turn heat off after about 2 minutes then add cooked pasta and toss. Salt and pepper to taste.
I don't usually measure or time so I'm guessing. You have to play with this so it's easy for you. Have fun cooks.
