Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
1/2 c water
1/2 c orange juice
1 c sugar
12 oz fresh cranberries
Stir together water, juice, and sugar. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a gentle boil.
Stir in cranberries.
Continue to heat, stirring frequently, until cranberries burst (about 10 minutes). Cook, stirring constantly, another 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Pour into a mold or glass dish.
As mixture cools, it will gel. When cooled to room temperature, place in refrigerator. Mix just prior to serving.
Store left-overs in refrigerator
