Sweet Honey-moist Cornbread

Almost like a cake but still cornbread, its very good.

Ingredients

1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup yellow corn meal
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
2 eggs slightly beaten

Method

Heat oven to 400 degrees. In medium bowl stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened. Pour into greased 9" square baking pan, or cast iron biscuit pan. Bake 20-25 min or until wooden pick comes out clean.

You need to use the whipping cream instead of milk - I used half of a smaller container and then made my corn grits recipe with the other half for the same supper. Very good.
