Cheddar garlic biscuits

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


2-1/2 cups Bisquick
1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
3/4 cups whole millk (can use lower if that's what you have)
2 Tbsp butter, melted in microwave
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
Dash of salt


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine Bisquick with cheddar cheese, milk, 2 Tbsp melted butter and 1/8 tsp garlic powder in medium bowl. Mix until well combined.

Cover cookie sheet in foil and spray with cooking spray. Drop portions onto the cookie sheet (recipe called for 1/4 cup portions, I used my cookie dough scooper to make smaller biscuits).

Combine 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 tsp garlic powder, parsley flakes and salt. Brush this mixture over the tops of each unbaked biscuit.

Bake for 14-16 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown. Serve warm.
