125g unsalted butter (or Nuttlex)
1/2 cup castor sugar
1 egg lightly beaten
2 cups SR flour
3/4 cup Nestle choc bits
1/2 cup organic sultanas
1/4 cup rolled oats
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add egg and beat until combined. Stir in flour, choc bits and sultanas.
Roll heaped tablespoons (or smaller) of mixture into balls. Place balls 6cm apart on oven trays lined with baking paper. Using a fork, press down lightly on each ball to flatten. Spoon 1/2 tsp oats on each biscuit.
Cook in a hot oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown, cool on wire rack.
Can be made up to four days ahead and stored in a container - or frozen for up to 2 months
