Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
Dietary guidance: v v n g d
3 tins sliced mango, drained
2 limes, zest and juice
2 heaped dessert-spoonfuls icing sugar
1 - Add the lime zest and juice to the mango slices. Blend (a jug or stick blender work fine).
2 - Pour into a 1.5 litre plastic box (or old ice-cream tub) and freeze.
After 2 - 4 hours, remove from freezer and stir well with two forks. Mix it thoroughly to break up the ice crystals. Return to the freezer.
3 - After another 2+ hours, serve. Goes perfectly with 'Easy chocolate tart (biscuit base)' (available on Recipe Binder).
If frozen overnight, it will need 10 mins out of the freezer to soften before serving.
