Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
6 apples peeled and sliced - Granny Smith preferably but I used what I had in the fridge.
1/4 cup margarine - not better
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice
Melt margarine in large skillet over medium/low heat. Place sliced apples in skillet, try and make it even. Pour lemon juice on top, try and get juice on all the apples. Sprinkle brown sugar and salt on the apples. Cover and cook for 15 minutes turning over once. Make sure the apples are tender then sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top of apples.
